A consultation with the pastors and Elders of UPC
Elder Kamil Nasir and Reverend Inam of the United Presbyterian Church/Faith Theological Seminary invited me to visit them in order to share my thoughts. The meeting began with an exchange of heartfelt greetings, followed by a tour of the church premises and seminary facilities. The meeting was held on the 2 nd day of July 2025 at United Presbyterian Church, Sialkot Road, Gujranwala.
On this occasion, several important challenges facing the Christian community were shared, especially those caused by social discrimination and religious intolerance. We expressed concern over the increasing marginalization of Christians and agreed on the development of the younger generation through education and technical skills.
I assured them of my continued support and stressed the importance of standing in solidarity to promote equal rights for all citizens.
As a gesture of goodwill and appreciation, Elder Kamil Nasir and Reverend Inam presented me with a selection of religious books.
These thoughtful gifts reflected their shared commitment to theological learning and interfaith understanding. These books will help my efforts to promote peace, mutual respect, and religious harmony within diverse communities.
