A Fact-finding visit to Francis Abad with concerned District Administrative Officers on 22.09.2023 in order to resolve issues. A large number of Christians have settled in Francisabad for the past several decades
Assistant Commissioner HRM and Coordination Mr. Usman Sikandar Hinjra visited Francis Abad and inquired about the issues. Mr. Shahzad Lawrence a member of the District Peace Committee briefed him about the entire situation.
Whereas, Fr. Shakeel Inayat a parish priest of ST. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church and Pastor Aslam Gill chairman of Pastor Alliance shared that due to sewerage issues, cleanliness water and other issues have increased the problems of the Christians.
Assistant commissioner HRM & Coord also inspected the main road of the Francis Abad and observed the bad situation of running stingy water coming out of the holes.

Later on, he visited ST. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church where Rev. Fr. Shakeel Inayat, Shahzad Lawrance, and Pastor Aslam Gill briefed Mr. Sikandar about the issues being faced by the large population.
Notably, a delegation consisting of Roman Catholic, Protestant, Presbyterian Church of Pakistan, and Pentecostal churches along with Shahzad Lawrance visited Mr. Naveed Haider Sherazi the commissioner of Gujranwala, and Mr. Fayyaz Ahmad Mohal the Deputy Commissioner of Gujranwala and informed him about the problems of the Christian Town Francis Abad. Therefore, Mr. Usman Sikandar visited the Francis Abad for fact-finding.
