A tribute to Mr. Naveed Haider Sherazi Commissioner Gujranwala Division, Gujranwala for his tireless efforts in connection with the promotion of interfaith dialogue and religiousharmony.

I presented a bouquet to the Honorable Mr. Naveed Haider Sherazi, Commissioner of Gujranwala Division, and requested the Deputy Commissioner of Gujranwala Respected Mr. Fayyaz Ahmed Mohal to join in thephoto and make these moments memorable.

It is noteworthy that due to the tireless efforts of Naveed Haider Shirazi, there is a motorway link adjacent to Gurdwara Ruri Sahib Aminabad of Gujranwala. By which the Sikh pilgrims will not only get an opportunity to enjoy the beautiful and cultural scenery of Pakistani
Punjab but also provide a safe and comfortable travel facility.

In addition, Mr. Naveed Haider Sherazi is an experienced official who believes in hardworking and due to his tireless efforts, the situation of Interfaith Harmony in the Districts of Gujranwala Division is peaceful, and through dialogue the process of the promotion of religious harmony is exemplary. He believes in continuing interaction with all stakeholders. Due to his special interest, there are bright prospects for the environment to be favorable for the establishment of peace, brotherhood, and religious harmony in Gujranwala. It is noteworthy that nowadays the peaceful atmosphere is an outcome of his unique initiatives. 

I had a productive meeting with Mr. Naveed Haider Sherazi Commissioner of Gujranwala Division, Gujranwala at his esteemed office on Thursday 10 August 2023.

I attended the Easter Mass and visited the Sikh Temple in Canberra on 9 April 2023. Being a Pakistani citizen and belonging to Gujranwala, I got a good reception. During the conversation after the warm welcome, I told Sardar Jasbir Singh Gada that the newly appointed Commissioner of Gujranwala Division Mr. Naveed Haider Shirazi has taken excellent measures for the betterment of religious minorities including measures to protect properties and places of worship. This includes renovating community sanctuaries and better facilities as well.
