An interactive session was held with stakeholders on the topic of population issues, family health, and responsible parenting under the Punjab Family Planning Program, organized by the District Population Welfare Office in Gujranwala district on February 14.

The session was attended by scholars, representatives of the Christian community, journalists, women medical officers from family health clinics, and influential people from the community.

District Population Welfare Officer Adnan Ashraf welcomed the guests and said that it is very important to create a balance between population and resources. He said that everyone has to work together for the betterment of the family, the health of the mother and child, education, and economic stability.

Community influencer Shahzad Lawrence said that the awareness campaign of the Health and Population Department is welcome and the Christian community is fully cooperating in raising awareness about family health and responsible parenting. In this regard, various churches, programs, social networking websites, and social media groups in Gujranwala are continuing to raise awareness about the problems of overpopulation and health.
