My reflections “The Installation Mass of His Excellency Archbishop Khalid Rehmat”

On 28 March 2026 at 10:00 AM, I had the privilege to attend the Installation Mass of Archbishop Khalid Rehmat at the Archdiocese of Lahore. This sacred and significant occasion brought together clergy, religious leaders, and faithful from across Pakistan, symbolizing unity, spiritual renewal, and commitment to the mission of the Church.

I extended my heartfelt congratulations to Archbishop Khalid Rehmat on his installation and assured him of my continued commitment to serve under his leadership for the promotion of peace and interfaith harmony. I also took the opportunity to introduce my work in education, peacebuilding, and interreligious dialogue.

This visit proved to be highly fruitful in several ways. It strengthened my connection with Church leadership and provided recognition of my grassroots efforts in promoting peace and harmony. The encouragement and appreciation I received served as a strong affirmation of my mission. Moreover, it opened avenues for future collaboration with Church institutions and leaders at the national level.

On this particular day, I was blessed with the opportunity to meet the Apostolic Nuncio to Pakistan, His Eminence Archbishop Germano Penemote, His Eminence Cardinal Joseph Coutts, His Excellency, Bishop Samson Shukardin, His Excellency Bishop Joseph Arshad, Rev. Fr. Emmanuel Yousaf Mani, Rev. Fr. Bernard Emmanuel, Rev. Fr. Philip John, Rev. Fr. James Chanan OP, Rev. Fr. Joseph Shahzad, Rev. Fr. Pascal Paulus OP, Rev. Fr. Naveed Akhtar OP, Rev. Fr. Afzal Iqbal OFM, Rev. Fr. Shahbaz Ajmal OFM, Rev. Fr. Francis Chaman, Rev. Fr. Morris Jalal, Rev. Fr. Yousaf Masih, Rev. Fr. Zafar Tanveer, Rev. Fr. The response I received from the clergy and Church leadership was deeply encouraging, as they highly
appreciated these efforts and recognized their importance in the present social context of Pakistan.

The spiritual atmosphere of the Installation Mass and the inspiring interactions with senior Church leaders significantly enhanced my energy and commitment. This experience renewed my passion to continue working
for marginalized communities and to promote peaceful
coexistence among different faith groups.
