Participation in 12th Annual Two-Days Convention held on 15-16 November 2024 at ST. Francis Xavier Parish, Gujranwala Pakistan

16.11.2024 The theme of the 12th Convention, held on the 92nd anniversary of St. Francis Xavier Parish, was the intercession of the Holy Mary and miracles. Two-day Christian Convocation, led by Reverend Father Mushtaq Payara, Reverend Father Ashraf Gul, Reverend Father Shakeel Inayat, Reverend Father Zafar Tanveer, Reverend Father Basharat Siraj, Reverend Father Yusuf Yaqoob, and Reverend Father Faisal Pervaiz.  The students of Sunday schools of St. Francis Xavier Parish presented various tableaus. Besides men and women, children participated in the two-day Christian celebrations.

I, as a member of the District Peace & Interfaith Harmony Committee along with Sabir Bhatti and Abid Bhatti a social worker distributed the awards among Sunday School Teachers and children in recognition of their best performance. 

The 92nd Celebrations of Saint Francis Xavier Parish in Gujranwala were marked with great devotion and enthusiasm from the Catholic community. This milestone event was a testament to the enduring faith and unity among the parishioners. The church was beautifully adorned, reflecting the joy and reverence of the occasion. Attendees came together in prayer, expressing gratitude for the blessings and guidance received over the years.

A highlight of the celebrations was the participation of children from Sunday schools, who showcased their talents through engaging tableaus. These performances, centered around biblical themes and Christian values, captivated the audience and conveyed profound messages of faith and hope. Their dedication and creativity added a vibrant and meaningful dimension to the event, underscoring the importance of nurturing young minds in faith and community service.

Various church groups, including Rosary groups, played a pivotal role in ensuring the success of the event. Their meticulous planning and collective efforts created a spiritual atmosphere that inspired attendees. The celebrations not only strengthened the bond within the parish but also provided an opportunity for reflection and a renewed commitment to living out the teachings of Saint Francis Xavier.
