PCP acknowledged my efforts during the 145th Graduation Program 2025

Reverend Majid Abel, along with other dignitaries of the Presbyterian Church of Pakistan, graciously invited me onto the stage and presented me with a bouquet in recognition of my voluntary services for the Christian community as well as towards promoting Interfaith Dialogue and Interreligious Harmony in Gujranwala. This gesture was not only humbling but also a source of encouragement to continue my mission of peace and unity among diverse faith communities.

I received an invitation from the Moderator of the Presbyterian Church of Pakistan, Rev. Arif Siraj, and the Chairman of the Board of Directors, Rev. Majid Abel, to participate in the 145th Graduation Ceremony, which was held on the 12th of July, 2025. It was a great honor for me to be a part of such a significant occasion that marked the academic and spiritual achievements of the graduating students.

Due to the pre-monsoon, I reached Gujranwala Theological Seminary GTS early, where I met Rev. Majid Abel, Chairman Board of Directors, along with Moderator Presbyterian Church of Pakistan, Rev. Arif Masih Siraj, and esteemed bishops and directors of other religious and educational institutions, Rt. Rev. Leo Paul, Rt. Rev. Elvin J. Samuel, and Dr James. I had the opportunity to introduce myself and share details of my peace work. The board of Directors and other dignitaries appreciated my efforts with words of blessing and encouragement, which strengthened my resolve to continue serving society with compassion and dedication

The program was staged on the ground near the seminary building, where large tents were fixed to protect the participants from the expected rain, as it was the monsoon season. The arrangements were beautifully managed, creating a pleasant and graceful environment for the ceremony. The chief guests for the program included Mr. Ramesh Singh Arora, Provincial Minister for Minorities Affairs, Commissioner Gujranwala Mr. Naveed Haider Sherazi, Deputy Commissioner Gujranwala Mr. Naveed Ahmed, and City Police Officer Mr. Muhammad Ayaz Saleem. Their presence reflected the spirit of collaboration and harmony between religious and civic leadership.

The event carried a deep spiritual essence, celebrating the dedication and hard work of students who had completed their theological and academic studies. During the ceremony, Reverend Majid Abel, along with other dignitaries, graciously invited me onto the stage and presented me with a bouquet in recognition of my voluntary services towards promoting Interfaith Dialogue and Interreligious Harmony in Gujranwala. This gesture was not only humbling but also a source of encouragement to continue my mission of peace and unity among diverse faith communities.

During the ceremony, Dr. James A. Tebbe, Ex-Rector of Forman Christian College, delivered an inspiring and spiritual lecture. His message emphasized the importance of unity within the Church, urging the graduating students and participants to work collectively for the progress of society while upholding Christian values. His words deeply touched the audience, creating an atmosphere of reflection and commitment to harmony within the faith community.

Later, I had the privilege of capturing a memorable photograph with Rev. Majid Abel, Chairman Board of Directors, along with Moderator Presbyterian Church of Pakistan Rev. Arif Masih Siraj, Rt. Rev. Leo Paul, Rt. Rev. Elvin J. Samuel, and Dr. James A. Tebbe, Ex-Rector of Forman Christian College. These moments of fellowship highlighted the significance of shared values and mutual respect among faith leaders.

The entire event was truly memorable, reflecting both academic excellence and the spirit of unity that our society greatly needs.
