Shahzad Lawrence and other Christian leaders meeting with Muhammad Naveed, Deputy Commissioner, Gujranwala.
A Christian delegation, consisting of Shahzad Lawrence and members of the District Interfaith/Peace Committee, visited the office of Deputy Commissioner Gujranwala Naveed Ahmad to extend their heartfelt congratulations. The delegation praised the Deputy Commissioner for his exceptional leadership and administrative excellence, which led to Gujranwala securing the first position in the Chief Minister Punjab #GoodGovernance Key Performance Indicators (KPIs). The delegation highlighted this achievement as a matter of pride not only for the district but also for the entire province of Punjab.
According to the latest rankings from January to March 2025, Gujranwala, along with Wazirabad, achieved the top position in Punjab due to significant improvements in various Key Performance Indicators (KPIs). These include administrative efficiency, betterment of public services, removal of encroachments, restoration of infrastructure, and the successful execution of the Shatra Punjab program. Additionally, strong measures were taken to control inflation, regulate market prices, and take decisive action against One Dash violations. These initiatives reflect a committed and transparent governance approach under Mr. Naveed Ahmad’s leadership.
The Christian leaders applauded the spirit of inclusivity and good governance demonstrated by the district administration. They emphasized that such achievements strengthen public trust in government institutions and contribute to the welfare of all communities.
