Welcome to Mufti Ramzan Sialvi Khateb Data Darbar

The Ithad-Ban- Ul- Muslimeen delegation, headed by Mufti Ramzan Sialvi Khateb Data Darbar, visited Gujranwala regarding Muharram arrangements. A meeting was held under the Divisional and District Administration of Gujranwala to establish religious harmony, tolerance, dialogue, and law and order during Muharram Ul Haram. The delegation visited on the 21 st day of June 2025.

I also received a special message from the office of the Deputy Commissioner of Gujranwala to participate. This program was attended by prominent scholars from the District Peace Committee from 6 districts of Gujranwala and Gujrat Division, whom I have known for over a decade.

Shake hands and welcomed Worthy Mufti Ramzan Sialvi to Gujranwala

On this occasion, I welcomed Mufti Ramzan Sialvi and his delegation to Gujranwala, presented them with a bouquet, and vowed to continue our efforts with them to promote interfaith dialogue, religious harmony, religious tolerance, and peace. This marks the beginning of an era of further improvement for Muslim-Christian dialogue and interfaith dialogue in Gujranwala.

Mufti Ramadan Sialvi is a peace-loving, humanitarian, and committed to respect for religions. This is why, for the past several years, he has been visiting the Muslim Ummah during Muharram to promote unity and harmony. He has maintained interfaith dialogue not only with Muslims but also with Christians.

Among the elders, there is the world-renowned religious scholar Maulana Zahid- ur-Rashidi https://zahidrashdi.org/. He was accompanied by former chairman Ambassador of Peace Qari Muhammad Salim Zahid, Maulana Khalid Hassan Mujaddidi. I was there early that day because this allowed me to meet and have brief conversations with scholars from other cities.

Leaders of various faiths participating from the districts of the division welcomed the philosophy of mutual tolerance and brotherhood during Muharram and described it as indispensable for peace.

Earlier, a delegation of Provincial Minister for Health Khawaja Suleman Rafique and Maulana Hafiz Tahir Ashrafi, Chairman of the Pakistan Ulema Council, had visited in this regard.

Mufti Ramzan Sialvi asked the leaders of every sect present there to follow the philosophy of tolerance, peace, and mutual respect, which would increase the chances of a lasting peace.
