Youm-e-Shuhada-e-Police (Martyrdom Day of Police), Gujranwala
The Pakistani nation remembers and is proud of the bravery of its martyrs by organizing programs to commemorate their eternal sacrifices. It is an honor to participate in Martyrs; Day programs, which not only strengthen social and moral connections but also help unite all members of society. This is the best opportunity to pay tribute to the sacrifices of every martyr who has protected the country and nation, regardless of religion, color, race, or caste.
Human history is a witness that the price of freedom is often paid in blood, and the sacrifices of martyrs are ingrained in the spirit of freedom and security of a nation. These true heroes sacrificed their lives for the sake of peace, unity, and the hope of a secure future for future generations. The martyrs who sacrificed their lives for their nation and country stand as an eternal symbol of bravery, patriotism, and selflessness.
Whether they fell on the battlefield defending the borders, stood strong in the war on terror, or were the victims of terrorist attacks and bombings. Their stories inspire and strengthen the nation’s courage, and their legacy reminds us. Let us pay tribute to these martyrs whose undying sacrifices continue to protect the heartbeat of our homeland.
The objective of this solemn gathering was to express solidarity with the families of the police martyrs who laid down their lives to protect citizens and uphold the rule of law. The event aimed to highlight the unmatched sacrifices of police officials who gave their lives in the line of duty. Speakers from civil society, business leaders, police officers, and family members of the martyrs attended the program. A massive message was delivered to society about the importance of honoring these sacrifices, ensuring peace, security, and the smooth functioning of daily life.
I believe such initiatives also promote an environment where dialogue and understanding naturally grow. When religious leaders and peacemakers work side by side with law enforcement and government officials, it broadcasts a strong message of inclusivity and harmony. These programs do not just strengthen relationships between Christians and Muslims; they help eliminate misconceptions and reduce tensions, ultimately paving the way for a more peaceful and tolerant society in Gujranwala through interfaith dialogue.

The sacrifices of the martyrs of the Pakistan Army and Police deserve to be written in golden letters in the history of our country. Be it the war on terrorism, operations against criminal elements, duty in sensitive areas, or dealing with any emergency, police personnel sacrifice their lives so that the public can remain safe. Thousands of personnel have been martyred who sacrificed their lives for the future of the nation.all members of society. This is the best opportunity to pay tribute to the sacrifices of every martyr who has protected the country and nation, regardless of religion, color, race, or caste.
These gatherings symbolize that peace and acceptance are built through collaboration and mutual respect among diverse communities. By honoring the sacrifices of martyrs together, these groups demonstrate that peace and security are shared responsibilities that transcend religious or cultural boundaries, setting a positive precedent for the entire region.

It was a great honor for me to express my feelings about Martyrs while I was among their families. I tribute their vital role and their bravery, courage, determination, and commitment. The families of Martyrs received remarkable messages from the speakers in the light of Islamic teaching with pride, and accepted the remarkable sacrifice of their beloved for the nation. I mentioned the Christian Martyrs who shed their blood to protect the lives of citizens and the nation. I mentioned that the police force is the backbone of any society, to maintain law and order. Public opinion in Pakistan is mixed regarding the police. On the one hand, the public sees the police as an institution that is busy day and night to control crime, protect the lives and property of the people, and ensure the rule of law. On the other hand, some critics point out issues such as police behavior, lack of resources, and corruption, which raise questions about the overall performance of the institution. However, it is a fact that the services of the police force are of fundamental importance in maintaining peace in every society and in dealing with force are of fundamental importance in maintaining peace in every society and in dealing with terrorism, crime, natural disasters, or emergencies terrorism, crime, natural disasters, or emergencies.
